Week 4 – Australia Day Challenge!

We truly are the lucky county, no doubt about it – I wouldn’t live anywhere else in the world.

I love the raw natural beauty of our landscapes, wilderness and wildlife, and the easy going attitude and laid back nature of our people! What an EPIC country.

Week 3 – Farmers Market

Like most males, I’m generally not into shopping and dread the thought of having to go down to the shops, spawning all sorts of arguments between me and my wife about whose turn it is to do the weekly food and veg shop. Such a hassle, fighting for a car park, weaving trolleys down the aisles, people continually in your way, long unhappy queues, and staff that couldn’t care less. 😡

Week 2 – Trash or Treasure

Something in your brain has clicked. You find yourself viewing the world in an entirely new way. As though you have been brain-washed (or maybe green-washed!), your mind seems to be reprogramming itself.

Week 1 – Freak Out… and then change some light globes

Yes I know it sounds completely cliché. A sustainability website talking about light globes!
I have chosen to start with this action because… well…. it’s where most of us start.
When confronted by the realisation that as individuals we do in fact impact on the earth, we will generally react in two ways.

A Year for Positive Action

2014 – This is a year for change. This is a year for ACTION!!

My new year’s resolution is to devote more of my time to sustainability and the issue of climate change. I want to give it my best shot at encouraging others to take action.
